Types of polyethylene fittings and its application

There are different types of polyethylene fittings, each with its own performance. Here are some connections and how to use them.

Material connection

Material connection is used to connect pipes to valves, filters or any accessories with a male thread. Suppose you want to put a water shut-off valve in the middle of your water pipe transmission line. This is where connecting material helps.

Equal interface

Equal connectors are used to connect the pipes to each other. For example, suppose a part of your pipe is damaged and you want to replace it with another piece of pipe. This is where you need an equal interface. Simply separate the damaged part with a saw, place the replacement pipe in place and connect its two ends to the main pipe with an equal connection. No need to worry about water leakage. Because the connection is designed to prevent any water leakage.

Conversion interface

To change the pipe size, you need a conversion interface. Suppose you have a size 63 pipe, but for whatever reason you need to resize it to 40. Just add a 63 by 40 conversion connector to the end of pipe 63 and install the beginning of your pipe 40’s. You can easily change the size of your water pipe.

The knee is equal

Knees are used for parts where the water pipe needs to be bent. The knee as a connection helps to prevent the pipe from breaking during screws. Although excessive and unnecessary use of elbow joints causes a drop in pressure in the pipe, but in many cases it must be used for the operation of the irrigation and water supply system.
